For monitoring, so far we’ve created the main currentWatcher page, which mashes up live energy observations from users’ devices onto a Google Map.

We’ve also created a Yahoo! Konfabulator Widget. This utility displays electrical usage as a handy dynamic element on the desktop.

We’re also adding in support on the website for the Ambient devices ORB. CurrentWatchers updates this device, through Ambient’s network, to display current electrical load in near-realtime.

We’re looking at more display ideas as well. These are very exciting, and we’ll post them as we complete the integration.
